Absztrakt (kivonat)

The Orthoptera fauna of the Tisza district were assessed on the basis of published distribution data and unpublished results of samplings made by authors. In the studied region there are 93 Orthoptera species (Ensifera: 39 Tettigonioidea and 6 Grylloidea; 48 Caelifera) which make up 78 % of the Hungarian fauna. The data were revised and five species were removed from the list: Pholidoptera aptera, Acheta domestica, Pseudopodisma fieberi, Pseudopodisma nagyi and Chorthippus montanus.
