Abstract
From the year of 2000 economic mainly fiscal policy of Hungarian governments has been more and more subordinated to the their ambitions to win the elections. This tendency can be traced the most in the twice one-hundred days program of the Medgyessy administration paradoxically right after winning the elections. The convergency program of 2006, besides the restrictions, intends to start general structural reform as well.
