Abstract
According to the data the Valko county charter was first issued at the turn of the 13—14ch c. during and after the reign of the last kings of the Árpád dinasty when the country was struck by internal crisis. At that time Valko county was part of the territory of Csák Ugrin, who was the first and largest follower of Charles I. This essay surveying the dated and the undated charters of Valko county is seeking the answer, how the jurisdictional system was working in a territory which was supporting Charles I during the reign of the oligarchies.
