Abstract
The aim of the present article is to look beyond the life conditions of the Roma population. Our research was to determine whether the presence and the extent of religiosity could infl uence, and consequently facilitate the social integration of the Roma. Th e study also intends to analyse whether the frequency of the participation in religious rituals produces signifi cant diff erences regarding the level of education, economic activity and employment of the Roma included in the sample.
