Abstract
Many people emphasize the importance of sustainability and green aspects in corporate management. Today market conditions are characteristic by rapid changes. In order for the enterprises to be able to stay competitive, it has become essential adapt to the market challenges properly. The effort of survival and development highlighted the fact that enterprises have to change and evaluate the business operation functions. This change has forced rethinking some business tasks and roles. First of all, the logistics roles and supply chain management operations come into the foreground. The procurement has become a strategic factor. The procurement, as a logistics function and element of supply chain management determined some domestic and foreign literature, as well. The relevance of procurement can be important in many aspects. In the future, the sustainability goals will be appear in the procurement and the management of supplier relationship increasingly. In this research, we examine the role and importance of green procurement in the life of producer enterprise using case study methods.
