Abstract
Game and especially matching theories are one of the most important notions of the XXIst century’s economic theory. Various everyday problems might be solved with the help of such algorithms. Numerous situations might be considered one-to-one, one-tomany, or many-to-many matching problems. In daily life, where average people make their decisions without awareness of matching algorithms, choices are usually suboptimal. These situations however, in many cases could have their stable, optimal solution with the help of matching theory. Present paper endeavours to prove that although most territories of our life are based on matchings, the decisions are seldom made consciously and – as a consequence – are irrational. Students are also illogical in most of their choices. Hence this article models suboptimal choices through their example.
