Abstract
The author wishes to explore the components of the formal perfection in this well known poem of Nagy László by a grammatical analysis. The examination of the sentence structures and the word-stock proves that the poet could convert traditional folkoristic forms and old stylistic concepts in order to create an original composition with steady hand even in his earliest period.
