Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to present a description of the Russian loanwords of the Nganasan language with a sociolinguistical background. In my study I apply to invsetigate the phonological aspects of the borrowing. First the changes are described, groupped according to their similar characteristics. Consequently, general conclusions can be drawn regarding the phonological relations of loanwords.
