Abstract
Die Zusammengehörigkeit von Catulls c. 2 und с. 2A ist noch immer eine stark umstrittene Frage der Catullus-Philologie. Aufgrund der Handschriftentradition ist die Frage nicht zu entscheiden, es bleiben die ästhetischen, inhaltlichen Gesichtspunkte als Ausgangspunkt. Aus dieser Grundstellungversucht der Aufsatz das Problem von с. 2A anzunähern und mit der Analyse von c. 2А glaubt er beweisen zu können, dass das bisher für fragmentum gehaltene Gedicht ein vollendetes carmen ist, c. 2 und с. 2A also keinesfalls ein einheitliches Gedicht bilden können.
