Abstract
In my study I’m describing in detail, the grave situation in which Serbia had found itself, after the Potiorek-offensives. Furthermore, I’m attempting to answer, why did the German Empire decided to send troops to the Balkan front, and how did it managed to took over the control of the military operations in the Balkan’s. I’m describing Bulgaria’s entrance into the Great War, and I’m also dealing, with the two opposing powers war plans and strength. I’m also describing in detail, the Mackensen-offensive, and its aftermath.
