Abstract
In 1971, the third India–Pakistan war broke out. ? e con@ icts between the eastern- and western parts of Pakistan led to a bloody civil war. ? is civil war escalated to a regional armed con@ ict, and India was forced by its interests (religional, strategic and Kashmir) to send its army to support the rebels in Eastern-Pakistan. ? e war ended with victory of India, therefore Eastern-Pakistan became independent state, named Banglades.
