Abstract
In my study I intend to analyze the issues of the Hungarian social security system, which do not conform to the classical insurance principles. The detective work I intend to approach by the side of the insured person. Today in Hungary the principle of social insurance has got a dominant role, the target of the legislature is that a broad range of society obtains health insurance and pension benefits under the social security system operated. However, several elements of the Hungarian social security system has been installed, which do not fit into the theoretical foundations of the insurance principle. The social security system is based on contributions, pursuant to which the insured person receives social security benefits, but there are several benefits, from which not insured person only entitled. I would like to introduce this in my essay.
