Abstract
The basic purpose of statistics is observing, describing social-economic processes, exploring interactions by accurate, object oriented data collection and data processing. It is essential that the results of data processing and the conclusions drawn from them show a real picture, point out the areas, phenomena that are undesirable or in need of intervention for the leaders of society, the political/economic political decision makers. It is vital that the observation and analysis should not only cover a specific country’s processes but they should also be suitable for comparing them with narrower and broader international environment. This is also important in relation to one of the main factors of new value creation, labour market and employment. The aim of governments is approaching full employment. This partially depends on the technical and technological development of national economies, but also on the qualification, age and geographical location structure of the available workforce.
