Abstract
The paper examines the development of a European Public Space and European Administrative Space in the European Union, paying special attention to relations and interactions between the different administrative levels of government: European, national, regional and local. European Administrative Space is a term which has become is often used to describe the coordinated implementation of EU law and Europeanization of national administrative systems. The emerging European Administrative Space denotes that public administrations of EU member states operate and are managed on the basis of common European principles, rules and regulations. A development towards a European Administrative Space understood as convergence of national public administrations. The study seeks to draw an overview whether the European Union provided a stable, institutional framework for the application of a new, non-national state space concept. May EGTCs facilitate structuring the European Administrative Space?
