Abstract
The ethnic genocide that took place in Vojvodina in 1944–1945 is one of the biggest tragedy in the history of the Hungarians living there. Remembering this event is important, but we can sometimes forget about the places that avoided bloodshed. In my research the main focus is on how and why where these places able to avoid being part of a genocide.
