Abstract
Copreneurship is a firm where a couple is in marriage or living together and they share the ownership, the commitment and responsibility for the business. Our qualitative study is based on interviews with entrepreneur couples. These low complexity family businesses are small size with less than fifty employees. One of them is in the financial sector, other is operating in tourism. Our goal is to identify the typical categories of copreneurial behavior with content analysis based on grounded theory framework. We found that five important categories appear in both cases: informal communication, role sharing, trust, cooperation and shared decision making. The couples prefer the cooperation in conflict and hard times. They look for win-win solutions and can work as an efficient team when taking roles. This pattern can work in business even after a couple breaks the intimate relationship.
