Absztrakt (kivonat)
The ESPON programme was financed by the Interreg III. C programme in order to give directions and a kind of scientific background to the regional and areal policy of the EU, implementation of the cohesional reports and forthcoming projects. The ESPON 1.1.2. tematic research programme observes the connections between urban and rural areas. The research is organized around space and spatial relations. It emphasises urbanization, ruralism and urban–rural connections.
