Absztrakt (kivonat)

In this paper, drawing on the findings and experimental results of the colleagues publishing on the topic, the author aims to describe the methods and practices through which independent reading can be improved with those children who have already learnt how to read, but whose reading technique is in need of improvement. This is done with the help of one particular book (László Darvasi: Trapiti). The results of some surveys on the reading habits of pupils, carried out with the children and their parents, are also presented.
