Abstract
Informatics is the most typical sector today. In technology classes one can get a hint about the size and complexity of the complete informatic field. There are mainframes, supercomputers, cluster-computers and distributed system. There are new experiments: the DNA-computer and the quantum computer. In addition a few large-scale informatic Systems are also presented.
