Abstract
The UDC (Universal Decimai Classification) is attractive to different stakeholders across the information sector because of its wide-spread application, large vocabulary and availability in an electronic format. There are many Hungarian specialists who were/are engaged with this great informational retrieval system: Mandello Gyula, Szabó Ervin, Babiczky Béla, Földi Tamás etc.
