Abstract

A Toeplitz type operator Tφ with co-analytic symbol φ which canbe seen as the adjoint of the multiplication operator on S2(D)is introducedand studied on the derivative Hardy space S2(D). The characterizations for the operator Tφ to be normal, self-adjoint and isometric on S2(D)have been obtained. In addition, it has been shown that the operator T ̄zk for a fixednon-negative integer k is a Fredholm operator and its point spectrum is the closed unit disk.
