My research presents the changes of the agricultural economy in Vojvodina over the last 100 years. My study is mainly focuses on the land use and the land structure. In my study I analyzed the statistics of different land uses in Vojvodina from the World War I until nowadays. Introducing the determinative periods of the last 100 years for those who are interested in gaining a deeper insight into the topic. The epics do not follow the same intermittent distribution. The political and economic fractures and major events mark their starting and ending points. In this way we can get a picture about the situation between the two world wars and about the situation of the occupied territories of Vojvodina. We can also gain insight into the agriculture of the socialist Yugoslavia and the war period of the 90s and the present period. In my work, graphs and maps show various changes in agricultural data. Most of the data for the charts and tables are from the publications of the Hungarian and Serbian Statistical Offices. In my research I deal specifically with the farmers. Farmers were exposed to different situations during different political periods. Sometimes they were attracted by atrocities for their occupation and sometimes they were helped. The effects of the different periods are also well reflected in the databases. Changes in farm size are also analyzed, which illustrates the changes in the situation of farmers in Vojvodina too. In the end of the study I present different solutions that could open possibilities to shape a strong region, which could be a severe corner stone of the economic system in Vojvodina.
