Absztrakt (kivonat)
The paper interprets the oeuvre of Dezsõ Szabó from the perspective of sociology of knowledge. It deals with the question how his point of view reflects the stream of theory of his age and his own social position that determined his intellectual awakening and worldvision. Besides, the paper copes with the question what kind of ideological positions open the social effects – as determinism of the structure of thinking – for the interpreters of the age. Furthermore, the paper deals with the question what are the main characteristics of the historical and sociological constructions of Dezsõ Szabó and what makes him the most considerable publicist of the period between the two world war in Hungary.
