Abstract
En los últimos años son cada vez más frecuentes las voces que destacan la importancia del desarrollo de la competencia metafórica en el proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje de la L2/LE. Más allá de su innegable papel en el desarrollo de la competencia léxica, son varios los trabajos que se han centrado en poner de relieve su relación con la competencia estratégica. En este sentido, este taller tiene como objetivo presentar varias actividades de escritura creativa que, además de ser motivadoras y fomentar el trabajo cooperativo, promueven el desarrollo de la competencia metafórica y el pensamiento figurativo. Se trata de tareas de muy distinto tipo, fáciles de llevar al aula y adaptables a diferentes niveles de lengua. In recent years there has been an increasing number of voices highlighting the importance of developing metaphorical competence in the teaching/learning process of the Second/Foreign Language. Beyond its undeniable role in the development of lexical competence, several studies have focused on highlighting how it relates to strategic competence. Therefore, this workshop aims to present several creative writing activities that, besides being motivating and encouraging cooperative tasks, promote the development of metaphorical competence and figurative thinking. These activities are of very different nature, easy to take into the classroom and adaptable to varying language levels.
