Abstract
Protecting minors shall be provided all time by adults, smaller and bigger communities living surrounding children since the base of a healthy society is the young generation whose appropriate development is ensured. In fact, children’s rights are realized or can be damaged in sector specific legal relationships. Taking into account of mentioned above, present Paper focuses on tools to protect children from linear audiovisual media services and aims to describe how the European Union and two Member States try to ensure minors protection against television broadcasting. Nowadays, classifying media contents with selecting the time of broadcast, the acoustic and optical warning themselves do not ensure minors prevention from harmful media contents because of several reasons. This way, the main question is that I try to answer in my Paper, how regulators can ensure the most effective protection for minors against television broadcasting. By comparing national rules several inferences can be stated related to regulatory methods and child-protective tools. This Paper was led to conclusion that UK prevents minors from harmful TV content elements more effectively.
