Abstract
The reform and transformation of the Parliamentary legal institution is still a priority of legal life to this day. Certain legal institutions can be understood by members of the society if we describe their historical predecessors. Our Fundamental Law separately emphasizes (Section R) the respect of the most important achievements of our historical constitution. I would like to draw a distinct attention to the incompatibilities of the representatives in my paper, which still comes into limelight during political discussions, for example, think about one of the important aspects of official incompatibilities: the incompatibility of holding the office of mayor and representative at the same time. I intend to present in my paper the development of codification of conflict of interest, which is still a very important legal institution of Hungarian parliamentary system. I am dealing with a legal institution that was of outstanding significance for the whole society, since it was through the regulation of conflict of interest situations that the principle of the separation of powers could be implemented in practice.
