Abstract

The history of environmental migration is of the same age as human evolution. During human history, the climate, and the physical environment changed with a number occasion, and for the new communities had to adapt to the changes though. We analyze five climate-environmental migration situations with the use of the methods of comparative historical research. The examined cases: ancient Egypt and the immigration, the environmental crisis of the Arab peninsula on the time of the birth os Islam, the history of the Hungarian conquest in the viewpoint of climate migration, cracking of the Ottoman Empire on the time of the Long War and the Jelali revolt, finally the environmental vulnerability of Bangladesh on the time of the global warming. We examined in our environment history overview, as what launched the climatic-environmental changes as triggering force of the environmental and climate migration, and on a what kind of manner the mitigation of the effects of the crisis was possible. These environmental and climate migration situations happened in the different historical ages served conclusions which can be generalized. The climatic-environmental changes never take into consideration of the political borders. It was the general feature of climatic-environmental crises did not have a technological solution purely. The localization of the climate migration based on military devices not brought for, and does not yield lasting results in the future presumably, and does not help in the solution of the migration crisis too-the crisis management based on central administration and devices exclusively almost inevitably with low efficiency and resource wasting. There were any substantive positive effect of the social scapegoat creations though, ruined the public social confidence permanently, however.
