Abstract
Intelelctual property is probably one of the most important forms of property nowadays. Obviously it has significant effect on the development for both the society and humanity. Intellectual property is a collective term and within this term the protection of differenc forms such as patent, know-how, models and designes all represent differenc categories. In our country the legal regulations of industrial property protection always followed the international trend and development. However, technical development and productions naturally create new situations or problems and because of this further new categories born in the field of intelectual property protection. It is necessary to revise and reconsider the legal regulations in Hungary ont he bases of the European standards. The study analyses and mainly deals with these questions.
