This paper’s goal is to analyse the statistical background of a social effect. Namely, is happening any swap between the inhabitants and the urban population in the Eorseg (Guards’ Country)? If yes, does it effect significantly the number of rural tourism’s accomodations? First of all, I studied the phenomenon of population exchange. In common parlance called ’blow-in people’ are in the statistics as ’standing residence immigrants’ registered. As one wants to calculate the actual number of the standing residence immigrants, is neccessary to get their cumulated number. Because there is usable data only since 2002, therefore I calculated the missing data between 1990-2001 based on the trend of the later years 2002-2016 and on the trend of the ’permanent and standing residence immigrants’ in 1990-2001. I represented my results graphically, which clearly shows the rising tendence of standing residence immigrants, namely the process of population exchange. In the second part of the paper, I analysed the correlation between the number of standing residence immigrants and the number of rural tourism’s accomodations, using the Pearsons-coefficient. It’s high number - 96% - prognostizes a strong tourism investment’s effect of the immigrants.
