Absztrakt (kivonat)
The recent environmental crisis concerns mainly the water habitats, such as oceans and seas and the ice sheets, glaciers, lakes, marshes and bogs. The aim of this lecture to present the formation and evolution of the paleohydrologic systems of the Earth, and their geological and paleontological background. The paleohydrological knowledge includes the evolutional reconstruction and relationship among the hydrosphere, the atmosphere and the paleo-biosphere. The lecture indicates which revitalization programmes should be applied to survive the industry-based destroying of the hydrosphere. During the lecture, the undergraduates attain a comprehensive knowledge of paleohydrology and understand the long environmental relations and interactions. They become acquainted with the research methods and concepts of the paleohydrological research, as well as the background of the paleohydrological changes, the geo-indicator elements and paleobiological groups. Moreover, they become acquainted with the synthesis of the acquired paleohydrological knowledge via case-studies and become able to utilize this knowledge in other lectures and practices.
