Abstract
The integration of Hungary and Romania into the European Union has triggered significant migration processes from these countries to Western European destinations. The academic sphere, of course, responded to this, and numerous studies have been published in both languages examining different aspects of these migration bends. Our study was carried out with qualitative methods focusing on young, up to 40-year-old Transylvanian ethnic Hungarian, and Romanian migrants and on migrants from Hungary (all ethnic Hungaians living in the German state of BadenWürttemberg in Germany. In the frame of our research we focused on their value structure, religious and community life and social status.
