Abstract
László Kollár-Klemencz is mainly known from the band named Kistehén but he is not only known from the life of the music. He has published two bands of short stories: one in 2015 and one in 2018. This study compares László KollárKlemencz’s activity as a songwriter and as a short story writer. Comparing the lyrics and his short stories it is clearly visible that there are relation between them. There are lyrics which can be found in the short stories as intertexts or paraphrases and there are relations which are only thematic or motivic similarities. This way the relations can be imagined in a centre-periphery model. The study also writes about the affect on the interpretation of these relations.
