Abstract

The article is devoted to the life and career o f one of the most famous Hungarian translators o f Ukrainian literature, Sándor László. He is also the author of articles on Czechoslovakian Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, and Soviet literature. He was the citizen of three countries: Czechoslovakia, Soviet Union, and Hungary. His work is not only outstanding due to his literary translation activities, but also for contributing into the development o f cultural life, for editing of local journals and for deepening Ukrainian-Hungarian relations.
