Abstract

Az autóvezetés vizuális kontrollján végzett évtizedeken át zajlott kutatások ellenére a szemmozgás és a vezetés összefüggése nem világos. Az eddigi kutatások egyszerű kanyarokra vagy egyenes útszakaszokra koncentráltak, s nem vették figyelembe az egyes személy tanulási folyamatait. Jelen vizsgálat az autóvezetők szemmozgását összetett kanyarkombinációban vizsgálta a szemmozgás idői eloszlását a tapasztalat függvényében. Az eredmények, miszerint a kanyar nagyobb felülete, a külső ív lesz egyre dominánsabb a kanyar bevétele alatt, arra mutatnak hogy a vizuális kontroll a kanyar bevétele közben is az optikai áramlás egyes formáira épül. Despite decades of research on visual control of driving the role of temporal distribution of gaze-patterns is still poorly understood. Previous studies focused on simple driving tasks such as single curves. The present study aimed at examining the controversial issue of gaze control on the inside versus outside contour in a bend during driving a model car. Duration and pattern of gaze direction on different areas were recorded while driving through a triple bend situation. Four participants drove through the sequence of bends. The drivers had different temporal distributions of gaze patterns related to their performance. The fastest driver spent more time by looking at the outside contour (barrier) even though every driver used the tangent points. Furthermore, different areas of track did not show balanced correlations with gaze patterns. These results are inconsistent with the image-based theory of perceiving during car driving.
