Absztrakt (kivonat)
This voluminous study, almost the size of a small monograph, fills a long missing knowledge by exploring, on the basis of archival and other legal sources, the unknown years of the academic's early career, which he spent in the late 1940s, early 1950s in the Party Centre, in the Ministry of the Interior and later in the public administration, gaining much experience in the formation and functioning of state socialist law. The work of the academic institute and university teaching greatly broadened his horizons, although his career was almost broken during the revolutionary period of 1956. That this did not happen is largely due to his increasingly in-depth research in public law and the positive qualities of his personality. The study bridges the difficulties of biographical writing with copious quotations and, with the help of many of his contemporaries and colleagues, gives a very comprehensive picture of this great personality, with all his many contradictions.
