Abstract
Die Ergebnisse von Trocknungsversuche werden beschrieben, die m it in Ungarn gzüchteten Tabaken durchgeführt wurden. Die während der Trocknung stattfindende bedeutende Verminderung des Chlorophyllgehaltes und die Erhöhung des Gehaltes an freien Aminosäuren werden verfolgt, die auch selbst die vom Gesichtspunkt der Qualität wichtigen Veränderungen von chemischerund inhaltlicher Natur anzeigen. Zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes an freien Amino säuren wurde eine auf Extinktion beruhende und eine auf Photometrie beruhende Methode entwickelt. The results of drying experiments carried out with tobaccoes grown in Hungary are described. The significant decrease of the chlorophyll content and increase of the content of free aminoacids were followed which are indicating also by themselves those changes of chemical and other nature which are of importance from the aspect of quality. For the determination of the content of free aminoacids a method based on extinction and another based on photometry have been developed.
