Abstract
Die Verfasser empfehlen die unmittelbare merkurimetrische Bestimmung des Gesamtcyanidgehaltes von Obstbranntwein. Im Laufe ihres Verfahrens wenden sie die Indikation mit Kaliumjodat an. Die bei der Verdünnung der Branntweine entstehende Opaleszenz— welche sonst die genaue Beobachtung des Endpunktes verhindern würde — kann durch Zugabe von Aceton behoben werden. Zur Ausschaltung der störenden Wirkung der eventuell anwesenden Eisen (U n ionen wurde Natriumpyrophosphat als Maskierungsmittel erfolgreich verwendet. Die Indikation vermittels Jódat wird durch Anwesenheit anderer Schwermetallionen nicht gestört. A direct mercurimetric method is suggested by the authors for the determination of the total cyanide contents of fruit brandies. In the course of the determination, indication by potassium iodide is applied. The opalescence formed on the dilution of brandies which otherwise interferes with the accurate observation of the end point of titration, can be inhibited by addition of acetone. In order to prevent the interfering effect of iron(III) ionswhich may be eventually present, sodium pyrophosphate was successfully used as masking agent. The presence of other heavy metal ions did not interfere with the indication by iodate. Les auteurs préconisent le dosage direct par mercurimétrie de la teneur totale en cyanures des eaux-de-vie de fruits. Au cours de leur procédé ils employent l’indication ä l’iodate de potassium. L’opalescence occurant ä la dilution, ce qui trouble l’observation précise du point final, est liminable par addition d’ecétone. Pour éliminer l’effet des ions de fér (III)éventuellement présents ils ont employé avec bon résultat du pyrophosphate de sodium. La présence des ions des autres métaux lourds ne trouble pas l’indication l’iodate.
