Abstract

Der Verfasser untersuchte zwei - die Farbe der reifen Tomaten bestimmenden Karotinoide -dünnschichtchromatographisch. Er isolierte das rote Pigment, das Lycopin aus Tomatenpurée und identifizierte dasselbe auf einer Dünnschicht bereitet aus einem Gemisch von Calciumhydroxid-Kieselgel G 6 : 1, Laufmittel 95 : 5. Durch Untersuchung der Fraktionen des an einer Säule getrennten Tomatenpurée-Extraktes an der Dünnschicht, gelang es ihm die beiden dominierenden Farbstoffe der reifen Tomaten zu identifizieren. The two carotenoids which determine the colour of ripe tomatoes were investigated by the author by layer chromatography. Lycopin, the red pigment has been isolated from tomato purée and identified by allowing it to run on a 6 : 1 mixed layer of calcium hydroxide and Kieselgel, employing a 95 : 5 mixture of petroleum ether and benzene as running agent. Both predominant pigments of ripe tomatoes were successfully identified by the layer-chromatographic investigation of the fractions of an extract of tomato pruée separated by means of a column. L’auteur a étudié par chromatographic sur couche les deux Carotinoides de la tomate műre. IIa isolé le colorant rouge, la licopine, du jus de tomate concentré. Son identification a été fait sur une couche préparée d’hydroxyde de calcium - gel silicique G, en proportion 6 : 1 avec la phase liquide ether de petrole — benzene 95: 5. II a réussi d’identifier les deux colorants dominants de la (ornate műre ä partirdes fractions de tomate des concentrats de tomate séparées sur colonnes.
