Abstract
Verfasser bestimmten den Mono- und Oligosaccharidgehalt einiger Zwiebelarten mit papierchromatographischem Verfahren. Im Laufe ihrer Untersuchungen konnten sie Fructose, Glykose und Saccharose, sowie weitere Oligosaccharide von unbekannter Zusammensetzung nachweisen. Von den unbekannten Oligosacchariden prüften sie die Zusammensetzung der nach Saccharose folgenden ersten drei. Sie stellten fest, dass in denselben der Reihe nach 1 Molekel Glykose und 2, 3 bzw. 4 FructoseMoleküle vorhanden sind. The content of mono- and oligosaccharides in certain varieties of onions were determined by the authors with the use of paper chromatography. During their investigations they succeeded in detecting the presence of fructose, glucose and sucrose, further eight oligosaccharides of unknown composition. Of the unknown oligosaccharides, the composition of three which appear next to sucrose was examined. It was proved that in. these molecules one molecule of glucose and 2—3, and 4 molecules of fructose, respectively, occur in the given order.
