%X Two Calvinist organisations specifically targeting university students operate in KolozsvĂĄr (now Cluj-Napoca, Romania): the Christian Association of College Youth (FIKE) and the GenĂŠzius Society; the former is an organisation of the Calvinist Diocese of Transylvania and the latter is the university organisation of the Transylvanian CE Alliance. In the church the segmentation of the religious role dominates while among the members of CE (CE = Pro Christo et Ecclesia) the religious role is more diffuse. Parallel with this it can generally be said that the members of FIKE (a very heterogeneous group) observe and experience their faith through the filter of rationalism and liberalism, while the youth members of the GenĂŠzius Society (from CE circles) do so in the spirit of fundamentalist piety. This is also reflected in the course of the bible hours. The differences in mentalities can also be observed in the characterisations given of their own communities and of the other group. There is no acknowledged conflict between them, but the aloofness and latent tension can be felt.
