Münch bei Silikatanalysen benutzte Indikatorengemisch (Gemisch von 500 mg Eriochromschwarz T, 100 mg Phthaleinpurpur, 50 mg Methylrot mit festem Natriumchlorid im Verhältnis 1 : 25 verrieben) zur Bestimmung der Gesamthärte von Wasser. Die mit dem Indikatorengemisch erhaltenen Werte wurden mit den vermittels Eriochromschwarz T erhaltenen Werten verglichen. Die Auswertung auf Grund der Fehlerberechnung zeigte an, dass die Genauigkeit der Methode durch Anwendung des Mischindikators erhöht wird.  The combined indicator suggested by U. Münch for the analysis of silicates (a mixture of 500 mg of Eryochromeblack T, 100 mg of phthaleine purple and 50 mg of methylred rubbed with solid sodium chloride in a 1 : 25 ratio) was employed by the author in the determination of the total hardness of waters. The results obtained with the aid of the combined indicator were compared with those established by titrations in the presence of Eryochromeblack T as indicator. The evaluation of the results by error calculations proved that the accuracy of the method was appreciably improved by the application of the combined indicator. L’auteur s’esct servi pour doser le degré hydrotimétrique total des eaux du mélange d’indicateurs préconisé par U. Münch pour l’analyse des silicates (500 mg ériochrone-noir T, 100 mg pourpre de phtaleine, 50 mg rouge de méthyle broyés avec du chlorure de sodium dans la proportein de 1:25). It a comparé les résultats obtenus avec ce mélange avec les résultats obtenus par l’emploi de l’ériochrome-noir T. L’évaluation des résultats par le calcul des erreurs a montré que la précision de la méthode s’est amélioree par l’emploi de l’indicateur mixte.
