TY - CONF N2 - In the most cases, wastewater contains both heavy metals in different concentrations and a number of other organic pollutants. Treating wastewater to remove and, if possible, recover heavy metals is vital for the entire food chain. To achieve this goal, we have designed new materials with improved absorption properties. Thus, we used some recyclable wastes such as power plant ash and eggshell together with zeolites and iron oxides, especially magnetite. The characterization of the new material, designed to retain heavy metals from waste water was done by analytical techniques such as SEM/EDAX, FT-IR, BET, AAS etc. CY - Szeged SP - 297 N1 - Bibliogr.: 298. p. ; összefoglalás angol nyelven SN - 978-963-306-963-9 Y1 - 2023/// PB - University of Szeged T2 - 29th International Symposium on Analytical and Environmental Problems VL - 29 ID - acta82459 KW - Szennyvízkezelés EP - 298 A1 - Segneanu Adina-Elena A1 - Cepan Claudiu A1 - Cepan Melinda A1 - Mihailescu Maria A1 - Grozescu Ioan UR - http://acta.bibl.u-szeged.hu/82459/ TI - Materials with improved adsorbent properties, for retaining Cd2+ and Ni2+ from wastewater M2 - Szeged AV - public ER -
