Abstract
The 2012. CLXXXV. law on waste and its governmental regulations have grounded a new waste management system. Enterprises in waste management have to operate in much stricter conditions. The new obligations were introduced at the beginning of 2013, and covers all the areas of waste management - collection, transportation, treatment and recycling — and all the activities of these enterprises. This will increase the costs of waste management in Hungary. In my paper I present the new regulations concerning waste management.
