Absztrakt (kivonat)

The study presents the Slovenian victims of World War II and the subsequent retaliations, divided into two content units. The first chapter describes the data related to the entire current territory of Slovenia, according to the distribution of civilian and military casualties as well as cause of death status. The following second chapter introduces the atrocities suffered by the Hungarian population of Muravidék in 1945 and the affected Hungarian victims. It separately mentions the Hungarian civilians of Muravidék taken and murdered by the Red Army, the liquidations carried out by guerilla-fighters among the Hungarians of Muravidék, the Hungarians who were interned at the Filóc (Filovc) „reeducation center” as well as the Hrastovec and Sternthal (Strnišèe) prison camps and the victims of the internments.
