Absztrakt (kivonat)
The aim of the paper is to present the main characteristics of the Lappish yoykasongs. Involving the testimony of archeology, history, semiotics and other disciplines, and applying the methods of ethnomusicology the author argues that yoyka-songs represent the most archaic vocal traditions in Europe.
