Abstract

Since the political transformation there is a theoretical and methodological problem, where is the border of science ends, what are the historical questions in which the archaeology is not able it draw inference because of his source materials. There are many different answers to this question. In our paper we wish to present an archaeological substance which may answer the most complicated historical questions. Our analysis starts with the Kétpó diagnosis, and we are struggling in this chapter to justify, that this unworthily forgotten object bad is one of the richest from 10th century. The golden belt set, the silver with cup, the gilded cast belt set and the lion buckle with a sabre, the full rider with equipment included the silver stable gear ornaments in it. Grave with similar richness can be found in Carpathian Basin, and this is the grave of Zemplén. According to our view these two graves are in one archaeological horizon, and we have to look for the principal dignities, the chieftains in them. We may reveal even about the Kétpó grave, that it can be bound with a big probability to the first generation of the Hungarian conquerors, since the accurate analogy of his belt set is known for areas beyond Kárpátok (Krilos), his cup is carrying on the eastern traditions, his lion buckle is a Byzantine merchandise, which his proprietor obtained then presumably, when there were direct Byzantine-Hungarian contacts yet. A tribe had to belong to a leader like this. If examine middle Tisza on country, we find those diagnoses and localities then, that draw an area the archaeological substance of which alters typology wise from the horizon of Észak-Kelet Magyarország and DélAlföld troves from the similar age. We mention SzolnokStrázsahalom, Túrkeve, Kiskunfélegyháza-Radnóti Street, Tarnaörs, Izsák-Balázspuszta, Homokmégyhalom. But we could continue the row even with additional localities. (Currently at least some dozens of similar localities known from this country) The separation of the typology group is important because by this we may render that the archaeology applying the own inner methods is able the separation of historical, social categories.
