Abstract
The target of this study is representing the processes of renewals in the domain of international private law, especially in the field of the international sales law, through the Commission’s new proposal, which had been published in October 2011, namely ’the Proposal of the Common European Sales Law’ (CESL). The innovations and new goals of the European legislation are showed very well in this ’opt-in’ instrument, which offers a single set of rules for cross-border contracts in all 27 EU countries. However, the European Parliament Committee backs the CESL, there are a lot of question and conservation about the new instrument and its further impacts on the existing international regulations. This study focuses on the circumstances which have led to the birth of this proposition.
