Next to personal data the specific data – mainly sanitary data – also come to the front in the course of process of procured abortion. There are differences between personal and specific data management. Since a sanitary document contains personal and specific data, it is necessary to apply multi-level mechanics during the process of data management. In order to limit the principles and methods of data management I review the relevant laws and literatures. Afterwards, I examine its practise as well. The relevant laws are: Act CXII of 2011 on autonomy and liberty of information; Act XLVII. of 1997 on data management and defence of sanitary and related personal data; Act LXXIX of 1992 on defence of life of foetus. There are two levels of regulation on the defence and management of sanitary data: Act CXII of 2011 is a lex generalis, Act XLVII. of 1997 is a lex specialis. Act LXXIX of 1992 describes the procedure of procured abortion and disposes of the pre-consultancy. In the course of presentation of this process I point at the situations when data retrieval occurs, then I examine the methods of recording data-managing. Then I apply empirical methods in order to describe the practical characteristics of data management. I compare these characteristics with the regulations of the laws. It is also important to examine the regulations of transmission and registration of data. It is necessary to apply different methods of data-defence in the course of these processes as well. One shall introduce the institution of data base administrator. As a summary, I extend the empirical survey on these questions.
