My essay deals with the poem Ferendum et sperandum, focusing on the problems of its authorship and on its rhetorical structure. The mythological reference to Ulysess is highlighted in particular because it is also present in the poems of János Rimay. The authorship of the poem has intrigued scholars for long but the question is not settled yet.
