Due to the importance and specialty of the sector of services, there are many questions about this sector which should be answered so that it can be further developed. In our work, we made an attempt to define to what extent is the policy of consultants in accordance with the expectations of their present and potential clients, as the knowledge and satisfaction of these expectations are the most important factors of the successful consulting policy. Having reviewed the theoretical background, we could outline a wide spectrum of the peculiarities of services and consultancy. Learning on these secondary information, we built up our primer research in which we collected qualitative (deep-interviews) and quantitative (questionnaires, conjoint analysis) information on the three main groups of actors of consultancy: consulting firms, present clients, potential clients (in our work: university students). Finally, with the analysis of the collected information and data, we were able to determine how gold collar workers can become gold medalists…
